Nihonga (日本画) is a Japanese-style painting, and the term was established during the Meiji period (1868-1912) to differentiate it from Yoga, Western-style painting. Nihonga typically uses mineral pigments and inks and is painted on silk or paper. Here we present a selection of master pieces from our collection.
