古代という川の川底のまたその下には超古代が流れている。
ユーラシア大陸の果ての先にある孤島に住む魚族はその間を自由に行き来した。
縄文、プレケルト、良渚、インダス、超古代の通底器。

Underneath the riverbed of a river called “prehistory,” another river called “super-prehistory” is flowing.
The Jōmon people who lived on the isolated island at the end of the Eurasian continent moved freely between the two.
Jōmon, Pre-Celtic, ancient China, Indus, and super-prehistoric communicating vessels.
今回のアイルランドの巨石の拓本は、画家であり文明評論家の大野忠男氏が
一九七〇年代に書家の齊藤五十二さんらと共に採拓された非常に貴重な考古資料です。
ニューグレンジやドース、ノースなどの紀元前三五〇〇年頃に造営された古墳群を取り囲む巨石に線刻されたものを
原寸大に写し取った重要文化財級の資料で、彼の地にも保存されていないものと思って居ります。
そこに彫られた線描は、我が国の縄文土器や古墳内部に描かれた図象と驚くほど似ています。
想像をはるかに超えた古代の世界にご一緒に思いを馳せてみましょう。
この貴重な資料を快くお貸し出し頂きました齊藤五十二様はじめ、大野忠男様のご遺族にも深く感謝申し上げます。
尚、展示品はアイルランドの拓本以外は出土の場所や時期が不明なものが殆どですので、
鑑賞はご自身の見識と判断でお願い致します。

The rubbings of the Irish megaliths are extremely valuable archaeological materials that were created in the 1970s by the painter and civilization critic Tadao Ohno, together with the calligrapher Isoji Saito and others.
These rubbings, rubbed the line engravings of megaliths surrounding burial mounds built around B.C.3500 in Newgrange, Dowth, Knowth, and other areas in full size, are almost at the level of the-important-cultural-property and have not been preserved in the area.
The lines carved on them bear a striking resemblance to the iconography found on Jomon pottery and inside Kofun tombs in Japan.
We invite you to join us in imagining an ancient world far beyond your imagination.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Mr.Isoji Saito and the bereaved family of Mr.Tadao Ohno for graciously lending us this valuable material.
Except for the Irish rubbings, most of the items on display are of unknown provenance and date.
